– Titre : PID Control on Lie Groups
– Résumé : Many engineering control problems, such as those involving rigid-body motion, can be naturally formulated on Lie groups. However, extending classical PID control laws to Lie groups is nontrivial due to topological constraints that preclude global asymptotic stability with continuous feedback. This talk introduces basic Lie theory and hybrid dynamical systems theory, and showcases globally stabilizing hybrid PID-like control laws on Lie groups. Practical applications from marine vehicle motion control are presented.
