DESCRIPTION:- Titre :  PID Control on Lie Groups\n\n- Résumé :  Many en
 gineering control problems\, such as those involving rigid-body motion\, c
 an be naturally formulated on Lie groups. However\, extending classical PI
 D control laws to Lie groups is nontrivial due to topological constraints 
 that preclude global asymptotic stability with continuous feedback. This t
 alk introduces basic Lie theory and hybrid dynamical systems theory\, and 
 showcases globally stabilizing hybrid PID-like control laws on Lie groups.
  Practical applications from marine vehicle motion control are presented.\
 n\n- Biographie :  Henrik Schmidt-Didlaukies received the M.Sc. and Ph.D.
  degrees in marine technology from the Norwegian University of Science and
  Technology (NTNU)\, Trondheim\, Norway\, in 2017 and 2023\, respectively.
  He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Department of Engineer
 ing Cybernetics\, NTNU. His research interests include mathematical modeli
