Description:
Context
As part of the finalization of our "immersive room" demonstrator, aimed at creating virtual reality digital models
enriched with BIM, this internship will focus on improving the process of transforming models from "scan to BIM"
into dynamic and realistic virtual visit models.
A study of recent immersive tools may also be conducted to complement the current equipment of the
demonstrator. The developed models will serve various application cases, including:
Demonstrations for communication purposes.
Simulation and visualization of construction sites.
Internship Objectives:
Optimize the process of transforming "scan to BIM" models into immersive and interactive virtual models.
Integrate realistic rendering elements for enhanced user experiences.
Explore and propose recent immersive technologies to upgrade the demonstrator.
Develop multiple models applicable to different contexts (communication, construction sites, etc.).
Expected Skills:
3D Modeling and Realistic Rendering: Proficiency in software such as Blender, 3DS Max, Unity, or Unreal Engine.
BIM: Understanding of BIM processes and tools (Revit, ArchiCAD, etc.).
Technological Watch: Ability to explore recent and emerging tools in virtual and immersive reality.
Project Management: Organization and task planning to ensure timely delivery of models.
Teamwork: Collaboration with experts in architecture, civil engineering, and digital technologies.
