Description:
The Master's 2 project focuses on a preclinical project currently being developed within the BLOT project and will aim to determine in vivo the radiosensitizing power of an iron-based compound. Although the radiosensitizing power of this compound has been established in vitro on pancreatic cancer models, these results still need to be confirmed in vivo on xenograft models. In addition, this project included another cancer model derived from head and neck cancer, for which radiotherapy remains the standard treatment. The Master's 2 project will therefore also examine the impact of this compound on the radiosensitivity of these tumor cells in vitro and in vivo. Finally, experiments will also be conducted to determine the mode of action of this compound in the context of radiosensitization.
The data obtained will provide key elements of proof of concept necessary for the development of potential new drugs.
