Optimization of an automation tool for creating plans from point clouds as part of the Scan To BIM process and production of digital mock-ups of ephemeral factories.

Description:
As part of our research into "Scan To BIM", a tool for automating plan generation from point clouds has been
developed using Grasshopper. The first objective of this internship is to take over this development and finalize it.
Another objective of the internship is to produce digital mock-ups representing several possible organizational
configurations (fully automated, semi-automated, manual; parallelization of workstations) within an ephemeral
factory, the aim of which is to produce exterior insulation panels for renovation projects.
Internship Objectives:
Optimize the process of transforming point clouds from scans in "scan to BIM" processes into 2D plans or 3D
models.
Produce digital mock-ups of different workshop configurations for an ephemeral factory.

Expected Skills:

3D modeling and realistic rendering: Proficiency in software such as Blender, 3DS Max, Unity or Unreal Engine.
Computer-aided design and process automation: Gasshopper.
2D/3D drawing production: Revit
Project Management: Organization and task planning to ensure timely delivery of models.
Teamwork: Collaboration with experts in architecture, civil engineering, and digital technologies.
